In the early 2000's, JAVA had truly emerged as a leading development platform worldwide. The tech industry quickly adopted JAVA because it was platform-independent, object-oriented, extremely scalable, and reliable. It had become a programming language of choice for global companies for creating next-generation enterprise applications.
Owing to decreased demand, the tech industry was experiencing a severe shortage of good JAVA talent. in 2010, Cogent University was born with a mission to create the next generation of JAVA developers that possessed the necessary technical skills required to succeed as a JAVA developer.
